Kicking things off, Xbox’s proposed Xbox Live Gold price hike was immediately met with pushback from gamers, resulting in the increase being canceled. Why Microsoft went forward with it in the first place isn’t entirely clear, but gamers ended up coming out ahead regardless. Additionally, Vicarious Visions was absorbed into Blizzard and is rumored to be working on a Diablo 2 remake.
