One enthusiast from Vietnam has now taken to social media to share their latest accomplishment in the form of a highly compact desktop build that uses a portable stove in place of a traditional case. Based on the model number of the cooker, it would appear the creator opted for a low-priced white-label product from China that’s priced at around $20. Meaning their choice of a case didn’t just add to the wow factor, but possibly saved them quite a bit of money in the process, as even mid-range miniature PC chassis tend to start at around $100. Naturally, the demographic that puts computer parts in kitchen appliances isn’t necessarily concerned with money, as evidenced by the recent example of a $10,000 gaming PC built inside a mini fridge.
Either way, the tinkering specialist behind this creation made it work, and the end result of their efforts is compact enough that it wouldn’t feel out of place in Jordan Pickford’s gaming rig that the England goalkeeper recently shipped across the globe just so he could keep playing Fortnite in between World Cup games in Qatar. A short video of the astonishing creation that was shared on December 6 by Vietnamese retailer Sunoshop quickly went viral in the Far Eastern country, amassing over 35,000 likes and nearly 4,000 shares within three days of hitting TikTok.
