While Microsoft adds news games to Xbox Game Pass every month, some titles also leave the service after a set period of time. Fans no longer have access to these games and will have to purchase them to continue playing. Madden NFL 20, Narita Boy, and Shadow Warrior 2 left Xbox Game Pass in March, and Microsoft also confirmed that Destiny 2 for PC will get removed on April 11. Now, Microsoft has revealed the list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass later this month.

An updated Leaving Soon page on the official Xbox website shows all the games that will leave Xbox Game Pass in the next two weeks, with MLB The Show 21 and the PC version of Destiny 2 being the most noteworthy games from this list. The Long Dark, Pathway, and Rain on Your Parade will also leave Xbox Game Pass this month. Subscribers can claim a discount of up to 20% on these titles if they want to purchase them before leaving the collection.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in April
The Long Dark Rain on Your Parade MLB The Show 21 Destiny 2 - April 11 Pathway
Destiny 2 was removed from the console version of Xbox Game Pass in December 2021, so perhaps fans expected the PC version to also leave at some point. The timing could not have been worse, as it looks like Destiny 2 is at the peak of its popularity, and The Witch Queen expansion is currently one of the highest-rated games of the year. PlayStation fans can hope that Sony decides to add Destiny 2 and its expansions to the new tiers of PlayStation Plus to increase its value after the Bungie acquisition goes through, though no plans to that effect have actually been announced at the time of this writing.
MLB The Show 21 leaving the service makes more sense, as Microsoft will add MLB The Show 22 to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Fans can also choose to play the game right now by buying the MVP Edition of the game, which is available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers for $49.99.
