As the ceremony drew to a close, FromSoftware’s action hit Elden Ring was named the Game of the Year, beating the likes of God Of War Ragnarök, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Horizon Forbidden West, Stray, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. But as Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team took to the stage at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater to collect the coveted trophy, they were joined by a young man who appeared to have been sitting in a different area of the venue....

The plaintiff’s name is Casey Michaels, who worked on the Game of Thrones set in the show’s eighth and final season, shot back in 2018 to be released one year later, and which ended the highly-acclaimed series on a bit of a sour note for most fans. Joseph Petito, from New York, shared the heartbreaking message on Twitter on Sunday after police said they had found a body during the search for missing YouTube vlogger, 22-year-old Gabby. The Sales Supervisor for Time Waner Cable shared a picture of Gabby standing between a pair of wings that had been painted on the wall behind her. He added: “(broken heart emoji) #GabbyPetito she touched the world.” Petito’s comment was shared more than 33,800 times and liked more than 130,500 times at the time of reporting....

Petito, 22, died from strangulation about three to four weeks before her body was found along the border of Grand Teton National Park in northern Wyoming on September 19, Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue said in a news conference on Tuesday. Petito had been on a cross-country road trip with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie when she went missing. Laundrie, who is considered a person of interest in Petito’s disappearance, returned to his parent’s home in Florida alone last month, but then went missing and remains unaccounted for....
